In this pivotal role, you'll utilize your advanced Figma skills including expertise in design libraries, token architecture, components, variables, modes, and theming to ensure our files are accurate, consistent, and easy to use. Your work will involve scripting, automation, and AI forward-thinking to streamline processes.
You will be responsible for maintaining, auditing, and releasing Figma files monthly, ensuring strict adherence to our Figma Playbook and the latest design system libraries. You have a well trained eye that helps identifying and resolving bugs.
There are currently over 70 product designers and researchers working across the organization, and we are looking for someone who will be a strong addition to our Design team, bringing with them critical thinking, creativity, passion and experience.

● Advanced Figma skills; Knowledge and experience in design libraries, library management, token architecture, components, variables and modes. Theming and styling. Scripting/writing plugins. Automation, and AI forward thinking
● Great communication/collaboration skills
● Attention to detail; senior level with solid focus on detail and problem solving.
● Ensure Design parity: Audit design files against their live product counterparts and the Figma Playbook to guarantee visual alignment and consistency in setup.
● Maintain and Release Files: Manage the regular monthly release of Figma files according to established guidelines, ensuring all files use the latest design system libraries.
● Optimize Workflows: Collaborate with R&D and Services teams to evaluate and execute file refactoring initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows and delivering more accurate, easier-to-work-with design files.
● Proactive Bug Prevention: Preemptively identify and resolve Figma bugs and instances of component misuse within design files before they impact ongoing projects.
● AI Test Interpretation: Analyze results from AI test automation to pinpoint bugs, recommend solutions, and report where issues need to be addressed.
● Fix bugs in design files as needed to maintain system integrity and performance.
● Contribute to Standards: Provide expert input on the creation and maintenance of documentation and guidelines for the team's Figma Playbook.
● Maintain proficiency in Jira for efficient backlog planning, tracking, and task management.
● Technical Familiarity: Possess a working understanding of Front-End (FE) coding languages and the distinct technical environments of Web, iOS, and Android to better inform design system decisions.
