Senior Vision Plus Developer (Scheme Compliance and Integration)
Overall Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and implement Vision Plus applications and components, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- System Integration: Work on integration with other systems and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for system design, architecture, and processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and knowledge of Vision Plus.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and unit testing to maintain high-quality standards in deliverables.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Vision Plus and related technologies to ensure the team is up to date with industry trends.
Software Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Vision Plus application development and scheme compliance.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2) and SQL.
- Familiarity with system integration and APIs.
- Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
- Vision Plus Development: Extensive experience in developing and implementing Vision Plus applications and components.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
- Database Management: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2) and SQL.
- System Integration: Experience with integrating systems and APIs.

Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in Vision Plus application development and scheme compliance.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing Vision Plus applications and components.
- Experience in system integration and working with APIs.
- Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and version control systems.
Day-to-Day Activities:
