Syndigo Wellness – Sr. PHP Web Application Software Developer - Hybrid Mode
Syndigo enables commerce by supporting the efficient transfer of product information through its network of brands and their customers. The company provides descriptive product and nutritional information, images and other digital media, powered by deep analytics to empower engaging brand experiences online and in store. Through Syndigo’s Nutritionix platform, clients can interact with rich nutrition data via API’s, Bulk Data Exports, or proprietary tools such as nutrition calculators and interactive nutrition menus.
Job Description:
- Design, Develop and test highly scalable software applications using software best practices and applying various design patterns.
- Develop innovative capabilities to add new and robust capabilities to our Restaurant Admin platform
- Ability to maintain and develop against a legacy code base
- Work on a full stack Yii application using PHP and JQuery (both BE and FE)
- Design, Develop and Enhance REST API along with testing using tools such as Postman.
- Design and architect end to end solutions and be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of these solutions in a cloud environment
- Implement configurable data mappings to allow custom data transformations.
- Troubleshoot and issue resolution of software.
- Write automated unit tests and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps and QA teams on requirements, operations, and automation.
- Agile software development using Jira/Confluence.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple geographic locations as well as time zones.
Technical skill and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing software using relevant technologies.
- Required:
- Hands on experience in PHP
- Proficient with REST API/Postman
- Proficient with SQL
- Proficient with Git Repository
- Proficient with AWS Lambda
- Experience with Javascript and JS frameworks (Node, angular)
- Experience with Elastic Search
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with development in cloud computing environment – AWS, Azure
- Knowledge of Microservices and Web services
- Plus:
- Dev Ops experience in AWS
- JIRA for work item management
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of data analysis.
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Python
