Senior Wholesale Account Manager (A2P Messaging)

Why this role matters;

Our Global Wholesale Team, part of the Carrier Management Team, is at the heart of our global SMS wholesale business. We manage key aggregator and partner relationships, supporting one of the fastest-growing CPaaS companies through strategic procurement, volume growth, and revenue expansion.

This team collaborates closely with our Carrier, Operations, and Enterprise Sales teams to develop and execute regional strategies that optimize both cost efficiency and service quality. With our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Wholesale Global Messaging Account Manager to drive the development and strategy of our wholesale A2P SMS business.

This role requires a strong mix of commercial acumen and technical expertise, ensuring we remain competitive in the global messaging market. If you are passionate about wholesale messaging, strategic partnerships, and market intelligence, keep reading!

What you will do;

  • Drive Growth & Strategy – Lead and execute the strategic direction for our A2P SMS wholesale business, focusing on revenue growth, cost optimization, and competitive market positioning.
  • New Business & Partnerships – Identify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with key regional players, suppliers, and aggregators, expanding our global reach.
  • Regional Strategy Alignment – Work closely with Enterprise Sales and Carrier teams to align procurement and market strategies, ensuring we achieve our regional financial goals and expand into new markets.
  • Key Account Support – Partner with the retail sales team to strengthen relationships with large enterprise customers, ensuring best-in-class messaging solutions.
  • Service Delivery & Technical Excellence – Collaborate with Routing and Support teams to ensure high-quality service, competitive pricing, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Bid & RFP Support – Provide expert cost analysis and tailored solutions for large-scale digital native clients and critical deals.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising SS7 solutions to ensure secure, efficient, and high-performance message delivery

  • Technical & Operational Knowledge – strong knowledge of SS7 signalling protocols, as well as experience with SMS firewall solutions
