Overall Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test strategies and frameworks for software applications
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Design and maintain automated test suites using Python and Pytest
- Conduct API testing to ensure backend services are functioning correctly
- Use Snowflake to analyze test data and generate reports
- Implement Docker to create isolated testing environments
Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Snowflake: Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics, including data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL querying
Secondary Skills:
- Python: Advanced knowledge of Python for scripting and automation purposes, particularly in test case development
- Pytest: Experience with Pytest for writing and executing test cases, leveraging its features for effective test management
- API Testing: Skills in testing APIs, ensuring they meet specifications, and validating responses and error handling
- Dockerization: Familiarity with Docker for containerization, enabling consistent testing environments and deployment strategies
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies and frameworks
- Experience in conducting API testing and using Snowflake for data analysis
Day-to-Day Activities:
