About the Role:
Wing is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing, Communications & UX team. This role will be based in Palo Alto, but is eligible for Remote. We're looking for a strategic, creative, and data-driven social media professional who can craft compelling narratives, grow brand awareness, and deepen engagement across our social channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a pulse on the latest trends in digital storytelling, and brings a sharp editorial eye and a collaborative mindset.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Wing’s organic social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels
- Manage the content calendar, write and edit engaging posts, and coordinate multimedia assets to tell the Wing story
- Partner closely with design, video, product, and communications teams to source and develop content that resonates with key audiences—from consumers to partners to policymakers
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize content, grow reach, and increase engagement
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to keep Wing’s social media presence innovative and relevant
- Monitor conversations and manage community engagement with responsiveness, authenticity, and care
- Support the development of executive social media profiles and thought leadership campaigns
- Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and agencies as needed to amplify Wing’s message and extend reach
- Contribute to real-time opportunities, campaigns, and events with rapid response content and coordination
What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years of experience managing social media for a high-growth brand, ideally in technology, aviation, logistics, or mobility
- A strong portfolio of owned social media work, demonstrating creativity, editorial polish, and audience growth
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, social analytics tools, and paid media tactics
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills, with a passion for simplifying complex ideas
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment
- Ability to synthesize performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later) and design/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
- Comfort representing a brand publicly and engaging with communities in real time
- A proactive mindset, curiosity about future-facing technology, and genuine enthusiasm for Wing’s mission
The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$111,000—$172,000 USD
