JOB DESCRIPTION
Conduct independent hands-on requirements based software testing, including writing test specifications and cases,
running tests, reviewing reports, creating issues and organizing larger investigations to isolate systems issues, if
needed.• Executes the test plan to ensure that all objectives are met.• Reviews and understands test automation goals.• Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlines in Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs).• Effectively communicate and collaborate within the department and across the organization by proactively driving
solutions to testing issues and escalating as needed.• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices• Performs other duties as directed
Under supervision, develops automation code for both UI and API.• Evaluates and tests new or modified software bug fixes, extensions, and features.• Creates and executes automated test scripts based on test scenarios.• Performs usability, functional, and regression testing.• Report bugs and issues within tracking system.• Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlines in Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs).• Review Functional Requirements documents and interact with other departments to ensure accurate understanding
of requirements and testing to be conducted.• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices• Performs other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 5+years
Education: B.E/B.Tech
Technical Competency - TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber/ Gherkin
