About this opportunity:
Ericsson's Early Career Program is an 18-month journey for recent graduates and candidates with up to five years of relevant experience. Across three rotations, including an international placement and market exposure, you'll tackle challenges that matter and work alongside people who expect you to contribute, question, and move things forward.
The Innovate track is designed for people driven by building what's next. You'll rotate across Research, Product Development, Data, and AI, contributing to solutions that don't just support the business but move it forward.
This isn't a programme where you sit on the sidelines. From day one, you're hired into a role, trusted to contribute, supported to grow, and expected to make an impact. Find out more about the Early Career Program.
Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as a Software Developer in the Seoul R&D Center's 5G/6G RAN Traffic Control software team.
What you will do:
Join a flat, agile squad with strong engineering ownership. Contribute to the development and evolution of 5G/6G RAN Traffic Control software, helping the team deliver reliably amid increasing product and technical complexity while supporting performance improvements and AI-integrated transformation.
Take ownership of software work from problem definition through implementation and validation. Structure ambiguous technical challenges, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver improvements that strengthen product quality and team productivity. Look for opportunities to move beyond existing ways of working through AI adoption, automation, and process transformation, and share what you learn with the team.
Success in this role means delivering tangible outcomes through engineering ownership, contributing effectively to cross-functional projects or transformation initiatives, and proactively solving problems that improve product quality or team productivity. Through structured mentoring, leadership shadowing, PM/OPO exposure, and increasing engineering ownership, you can build toward future paths such as SP Driver, OPO, PM, or Line Manager.
