Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while following best practices.
- Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
- Engineers who are obsessed with optimizations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, backend, and product, to define and implement scalable solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure high-quality code by developing and maintaining test cases
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, ensuring best coding practices and performance optimizations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in frontend or mobile development, with at least 2+ years in React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a deep understanding of React Native fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience optimizing React Native performance, including render cycle optimizations, avoiding unnecessary re-renders, and efficient memory usage.
- Experience with modern libraries like FlashList for handling large lists efficiently, React Native Reanimated for performant animations, React Native Gesture Handler for advanced gestures, and Expo for rapid development and deployment.
- Proficiency in debugging tools such as Flipper, React DevTools, and Chrome DevTools.
- Familiarity with turbo modules (iOS/Android) and writing native code when necessary.
