What You’ll Do
● Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable automated testing frameworks across web, mobile, and API layers.
● Build robust automation suites that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD and support rapid deployments.
● Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to identify risks, define quality benchmarks, and drive engineering excellence.
● Investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver clear, reproducible bug reports.
● Champion shift-left testing by embedding automation early in the development lifecycle.
● Create strategies for test planning, automation coverage, and quality metrics.
● Continuously refine testing tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance reliability and speed.
What We’re Looking For
● 2–6 years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
● Strong understanding of automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
● Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
● Solid experience testing REST APIs, writing SQL queries, and understanding performance testing fundamentals.
● Exposure to high-scale product environments or Tier-1 tech cultures.
● Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
● Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. ● Familiarity with tools like TestRail, JIRA, or similar test management platforms.
Good to Have
● Experience in mobile automation for Android/iOS.
● Knowledge of performance, security, load, or chaos testing.
● Understanding of microservices environments and distributed system testing.
