Summary:
As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in team discussions to provide solutions to work-related problems. Your role will require you to work independently and become a subject matter expert in your field.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Analyze requirements and design software solutions.
- Write code to implement software solutions.
- Conduct testing to ensure the quality of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects.
- Document software design and code changes.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Mentor junior professionals and provide guidance.
- Continuously improve software development processes and practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Understanding of data governance and data security best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
