As a System Engineer 1, you will collaborate with principal architects and developers to develop, test, and deploy innovative solutions that address pain points across the organization. Your Responsibilities

Develop and test proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to tackle business and technical challenges.

Work closely with senior architects to turn innovative ideas into executable solutions.

Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code using Python, Java, or TypeScript (Next.js).

Deploy applications to AWS using Harness and implement cloud best practices.

Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technology bottlenecks.

Assist in defining system architecture and best practices for application development.

Research and experiment with emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Develop and execute unit tests using PyTest, JUnit, or Jest.

Contribute to technical documentation and maintain system knowledge base.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-2 years of experience in software development with exposure to full-stack development.

Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or TypeScript (Next.js).

Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).

Familiarity with DevOps tools like Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture. You will be part of a growing team of three engineers, with guidance and mentorship from three principal architects. You will collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life.
Your Work Location
As our System Engineer 1, you will be based in our Scottsdale, AZ technology hub. This world-class facility, opened in October 2021, fosters collaboration and innovation among top-tier technology professionals.
