Job Purpose and Impact
We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to support our business objectives. In this role, you will discover and deliver solutions to complex and varied problems to enable the company's digital future. You will bring order to ambiguous scenarios and apply in depth and broad knowledge of architectural, engineering and security practices to ensure your solutions are scalable, resilient, and robust and will share knowledge on modern practices and technologies to the shared engineering community. The Salesforce Engineer will support the full implementation lifecycle, from scoping to deployment in an evolving ecosystem consisting of business partners and peripheral teams to ensure customer success.
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement custom/out of the box applications, features, and integrations within the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and debugging.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Experience in Sales, Service, Marketing and Experience Cloud
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with Salesforce advanced configuration and administration.
  • Experience with data migration and integrations (REST & SOAP).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure to agile delivery (Scrum) and tools such as ADO

Preferred Qualification
  • Completed Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Completed Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
  • Familiarity in driving business readiness training and requirements
  • Exposure to customer centric design principles
  • Understanding of food/agriculture industry sector
  • Industry certification (Examples include Salesforce, ITIL, agile, six sigma, etc.)
