Veralto - Packaging & Color is looking for a C++ and QT expert for it's display calibration SW- team.
If you are interested not only in all aspects of SW engineering, ranging from requirements engineering, inventing ideal design patterns ,app design to hunting down performance bugs but also gaining knowledge about color, what it is, how it is perceived by the human eye, how it is digitally represented and processed then this role may fit to you.
You have to be good team player and will also work with junior developers to spread your knowledge by teaching and coaching them with your expert technical guidance.
Role / Job Objective:
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and maintaining software, and overall system architecture, as well as mentoring associates, providing technical feedback and sharing knowledge.
Qualifications and Professional Knowledge:
· BE or MCA with 3 to 7+ years of proven experience in C++
· Deep understanding of application architecture including Multi-Threading and Design Patterns and ability to share the knowledge with others
· Strong understanding of QT Libraries and tools like QT creator
· Strong understanding of build tools, cmake build and Visual Studio
· Familiarity with various debugging tools and profilers
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to understand advanced technical documentation
· Proficiency with agile software development tools like JIRA
· Ability to analyze customer requirements and define these as a formal specification for software development
· Understanding of Windows OS is helpful
· Knowledge of ICC profiles and color management workflows is appreciated
