About the role
As an iOS SDE II, you will be integral to designing, developing, and enhancing our iOS applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and user experience. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions. This role is ideal for developers with a strong foundation in iOS who are eager to grow their technical skills and contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new features for iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into high-quality, efficient code.
- Optimize application performance and maintain a smooth user experience across various iOS devices.
- Write clean, maintainable code and uphold best practices, coding standards, and security requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the growth of team members.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues to maintain application stability.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in iOS development and apply relevant technologies to enhance application capabilities.
- Improve development processes, tools, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Fastlane for efficient releases.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-6 years of professional experience in iOS development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
- Experience with UIKit, Core Data, and SwiftUI for building modern and user-friendly UIs.
- Familiarity with iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM or VIPER.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with networking libraries like Alamofire.
- Knowledge of concurrency in iOS, including GCD and Combine.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as XCTest or Quick/Nimble.
- Experience with CoreLocation, sensors, and other native iOS APIs.
- Understanding of cross-platform tools, such as Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio on GitHub showcasing personal projects.
- Experience with memory management and performance optimization in iOS.
