As a Software Engineer II - Java Full Stack Developer + AWS + React at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial Bank Technology Team, you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to develop core business platform involving design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products.
Job Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and other stakeholders across geographies
• Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget
• Work independently with very little supervision and on requirements which may not be available to the last level of detail
• Collaborate and share ideas, information, and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
• Work with teams in US hence there is a need for some overlap with US timezone, but work hours can be flexible
• Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Share ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in Full stack development experience with a focus on Java based applications on large/medium sized projects.
• Experience in React, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience on Cloud
• Proven experience in building/enhancing business critical systems.
• Experience on APIs and communication mechanisms like Kafka, MQ
• Advanced knowledge of application, data / infrastructure architecture disciplines and understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets and DevOps tools and processes
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Angular is preferable
• Experience in AWS is preferable
