As a Software Engineer III - Salesforce at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native micro services architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Job responsibilities:

  • Set up, customize and develop Salesforce.com and related app implementations, drawing on your relevant past experience and understanding of best practices surrounding Salesforce platform
  • Develop and enhance custom applications & features on the platform, by leveraging Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and APIs
  • Ensure the proper test coverage deliverables (Including Apex Test and JEST)
  • Build Salesforce integration with other applications, using relevant APIs and Integration frameworks (Hands on expertise in REST and Working knowledge on GraphQL)
  • Support product owner/s with refinement of user requirement and lead the functional/technical solution architecture & design
  • Ensure the platform is run as intelligently and efficiently as possible through continuous improvement, periodic code reviews, analysis of platform/governor limits
  • Work in an agile environment with a team of developers, product owners and test engineers
  • Act as a coach/guide to junior engineers, and foster a culture promoting technical growth, respect between team-members, empowerment, continuous innovation and fun
  • Support in maintaining the overall quality and integrity of the platform through appropriate quality assurance activities and automation testing
  • Log and managing incidents and defects through to resolution and support in deployment and release activities
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn newer features within the platform, through Trailhead and Salesforce certifications


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Formal training or certification in Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, JavaScript Developer and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Demonstrate strong Salesforce development experience with hands-on knowledge of LWC, Aura Components, Apex, and Visualforce.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of declarative automation features within the platform, with a particular emphasis on Flows.
  • Gain hands-on experience with version/source control, continuous integration tools, and DevOps principles.
  • Acquire strong experience and understanding of Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and the ability to write custom web services.
  • Understand Salesforce coding best practices, design patterns, and enterprise patterns thoroughly.
  • Possess strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud features.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Pursue certifications in Application Architect and System Architect as advantageous qualifications.
  • Develop knowledge around automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Gain experience in integrating Salesforce with AWS cloud services for added advantage.
