The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient APIs, building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, and managing databases. This role requires a solid understanding of .Net API development, front-end development using React, object-oriented programming principles, database management, and version control systems.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science to turn detection insights into secure, scalable, user-friendly applications used by supervisors and SMEs in the Defensive AI workflow

Primary Responsibilities:
- .Net API Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient APIs using .Net technologies.
- Front-End Development using React: Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Apply solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns in software development.
- Database Management: Manage and query databases effectively using SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Version Control Systems: Use version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with .NET API development (C#, ASP.NET Core), with strong OOP and design-pattern fluency
- Experience with database management, particularly SQL Server or other relational databases
- Experience with Copilot to improve efficiency and effectiveness in development tasks
- Experience with cloud solutions and services
- Experience with Git and CI practices
- Solid knowledge of .Net API development
- Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development tools and techniques
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- React proficiency (hooks, component composition, state management, testing)
- Proficiency in front-end development using React
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git
- Demonstrated ability to consume/produce RESTful APIs and integrate with internal platforms or services
- Proven SQL skills for querying and integrating with application data stores; comfort wiring APIs to downstream data services owned by Data Engineering
- Proven solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
