Software Engineer - Node JS

As a software engineer in Revionics, you will get to be part of a skilled and diverse team while working with a mix of engineers across multiple functions.
About the role:
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for helping to drive the overall system design, architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance of end-to-end systems at Revionics
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- You have 2+ years of experience in software development including building scalable cloud-agnostic systems and strong proficiency in microservices architecture.
- You bring a deep understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, application architecture.
- Demonstrated experience (2+) years in backend development using Node.js (NestJS Framework, Typescript ).
- Demonstrated experience (1+) years in frontend development using Angular.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining API documentation using tools such as Swagger and OpenAPI Specification.
- Experienced in Unit, Integration, and Acceptance Testing, adopting a Test First approach to feature development, and utilizing Mocking frameworks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience (1+) with MongoDB database.
- Good to have knowledge of any cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/AZURE (GCP experience is preferred).
- Good to have knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Gitlab and Terraform.
- Excellent team skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to quality-oriented development practices.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and features.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.
- Assist in the documentation of technical specifications and user guides.
