We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses, including license types, renewal dates, and usage metrics.
- Monitor software usage and compliance with vendor agreements to proactively identify potential issues or cost savings opportunities.
- Work closely with Procurement to negotiate favorable licensing terms and ensure compliance with license agreements.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments on software license procurement, usage, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation and reports on software license management activities for audit and reporting purposes.
- Stay current on software licensing trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize licensing strategies.
- Assist the Asset Management Manager in the development and implementation of asset management policies, procedures, and standards to support effective software license management.
- Develop reports and dashboards to track software license usage and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and preferences, such as recommending new products or services that meet evolving requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis tools.
- 2 years of experience in software asset management, software licensing, or related field.
- Knowledge of software licensing models, agreements, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with software license management tools and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
