Job Description Summary

  • Customer Requirements Analysis: Quickly assess customer use cases, identify key technical requirements, and decompose them into manageable components across our product portfolio.
  • Solution Design and Architecture: Design integration architectures that bring together our offerings to form a cohesive solution, aligning with the customer’s goals and maximizing our product capabilities. Solution scoping with market and customer, contributing to opportunity qualification.
  • Technical Advisement: Act as a primary technical advisor to sales teams, providing insights on how various solutions can be customized and integrated to meet complex customer needs by bringing all experts together (internal and external), coordinate solution designs that are compelling, viable, and affordable for the customer and IQVIA.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply strong analytical skills to dissect customer challenges, envision technical solutions, and identify the most effective pathways for implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineering, and sales teams to develop and refine solutions that drive business results and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Presentation: Deliver clear and compelling technical presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into accessible insights.
  • Decision-Making Under Pressure: Make well-considered decisions in high-pressure sales cycles, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
  • Enhance the Portfolio: Contribute to the repository of solution components and drive selected improvement actions to drive replication and improvement on the solution proposition.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in solution architecture, with the ability to design and integrate complex systems across multiple products. Healthcare Ecosystem & Industry Knowledge.
  • Analytical Thinking: Advanced problem-solving skills with the capacity to break down intricate challenges and synthesize information into practical, actionable solutions. Strategic mindset and a passion for innovation are also key to recognizing development opportunities for improving the existing portfolio.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, skilled at conveying technical solutions and value propositions to varied audiences. The ideal candidate communicates effectively and manages ambiguity.
  • Time Management and Decision-Making: Demonstrated experience in managing time-sensitive demands and making swift, impactful decisions that advance sales goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in Technical Sales or Solution Architecture: Preferably in a SaaS or software-centric environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or a related field with a focus on customer-facing roles.
  • Relevant technical certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of multiple product lines within a technical or software suite, and experience in integrating them into holistic solutions for customers.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and technology:
    • Communication protocols like FHIR, HL7;
    • Concepts related to HA, BC, and DR and different ways to achieve them;
    • Fundamentals on both SQL and no-SQL DB.

  • Experience in rapidly interpreting complex customer requirements and crafting integrated, multi-product solutions.
  • Ability to directly support sales and tender teams, enhancing our ability to deliver precise technical responses.
