The Solutions Engineer is responsible for ABAP development, technical analysis, designing, testing, and managing SAP projects while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Experience in developing ABAP Programs, Function Groups, Classes, Data Dictionary
- Experience in writing Coding with latest SAP ABAP Syntax and SAP Best practices
- Experience in using Code inspector / Extended program check / ATC
- Experience in custom code management in upgrades / EHP
- Possess thorough knowledge in Transports, Testing, working in development and project environments, development life cycle management
- Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- Responsible for Technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing an implementation of SAP developments, ranging from small enhancements to large projects.
- Ensure compliance with existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
- Perform analysis of critical issues for the project(s)/ product(s) and provide expertise towards resolution.
- Perform high-level analysis of any new requirements/ change requests to the solution from a techno-functional standpoint.
- Designing and developing, data dictionary objects, data elements, domains, structures, views, lock objects, search helps and in formatting the output of SAP documents with multiple options.
- Assist initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Participate in release upgrade or new functionality/enhancement assessments and make recommendations for SAP enhancements:
- User Exits
- BADIs
- Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions
- Responsible for product road-map and delivery. Identifying business requirements, mapping them to a software solution, design the solution and manage development and delivery of the software solution to all customers using product.
- Ability to collaborate and interact with multiple teams.
- Experience in OO ABAP and object oriented based designs.
- Experience in output forms (SAP Script, Smartforms, Adobe forms)
Graduate
7 to 8 + years’ experience in ABAP development with good knowledge of SAP modules.
