In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review customer /project specifications on special processes, and identify relevant requirements, recommend alternatives, deviations, clarifications and/or exceptions to ensure practical and attainable compliance with specifications and applicable code requirements.
Consolidate requirements once PO is received; reconcile gaps between our quoted exceptions, technical qualification process, customer’s Purchase Order, and agreements reached in customer kickoff meeting.
Upon order confirmation, work with quotation team to develop sales order long text to ensure customer /project requirements are clearly communicated onto the factory sales order
Support calls, correspondence and/or technical meetings with customers, factory and vendors, to provide technical opinions on special process requirements to obtain alignment across all parties.
Write addendums to factory and /or vendors’ manufacturing procedures revolving around material testing /heat treatment /welding /painting/ NDE and other special processes, to identify specific project requirement for customer’s approval.
Review and interpret customer commented procedures and initiate technical clarifications with customers, factories, and sub-suppliers to fulfil project documentation approval.
Create special procedures or specifications where current documents are unable to fulfil project requirements. This is not restricted to corrosion testing /heat treatment /welding / painting/ NDE and other special processes.
Provide additional adhoc support as needed to support PMO objectives, for project related activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
5 to 10 years’ of hands-on experience with special processes such as coating, welding, NDE, casting, heat treatment etc in Oil & Gas industry.
Has strong knowledge of ASME BPVC (Sections II, V, VIII, IX) and NORSOK M501.
Preferably familiar with IOGP S-563, S-705, S-715
Ability to learn and comprehend technical details and gain technical literacy in the above special processes.
Attention to detail, problem solving skills and independent judgement to deal with ambiguity.
Professional communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal) across different cultures and languages.
Ability to use MS Office applications, such as Word and Excel.
