Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for a high volume of customer interactions, including prospecting, cold calling, closing deals, and daily account management.
  • Negotiate transactional rates with prospects and closed customers to win opportunities to grow our market share.
  • Generate and qualify leads daily to determine compatibility with our services.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and history of all shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics services and timely resolution of any issues.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop customized solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Manage customer expectations by employing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other account metrics.
  • Drive service and revenue by coaching and developing new and existing team members.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues and finding solutions.
  • Motivated by achieving bottom-line results.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Sales, negotiation, or communication experience preferred.
