Job Purpose: Responsible to ensure full cycle accounting for all the Company’s subsidiaries outside of Securus Domestic and JPay (includes Electronic Monitoring, Primonics, Guarded Exchange (GEX), CellBlox (WCS), Telerus, JLG, and JobView) is completed in accordance with GAAP including recording, analysis, reconciliation and associated reporting. Includes all areas except for fixed assets.
Essential Duties:
- Record all financial activity in accordance with GAAP and the month end close calendar, except for fixed assets (but including the inventory of our Electronic Monitoring subsidiary)
- Perform the monthly analytical review of the subsidiaries’ P&Ls as part of month end close
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Record quarter-end entries for the intercompany management, license, and interest fees between the parent company (Securus) and Primonics.
- Review all the intercompany accounts monthly and record any necessary intercompany entries for reconciliation
- Prepare requests for both tax provision/returns and financial statement audits for all the subsidiaries
- Prepare regulatory filings and payment requests as assigned
- Prepares sales/use tax and property tax returns and submit payments for applicable subsidiaries
- Prepares special financial reports as needed for the executives by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working independently, but also a good team player
- Organization skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with data and sensitive matters
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, etc.)
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in full cycle accounting, including experience in accounting for inventory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or relevant field
- ERP system experience
- Experience in the manufacturing and technology industries
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally, this position may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

- $89,575.97 - $102,116.60 per year
