Job Requirements
Ø 8+ years of experience with Vmware EXsi.
Ø Designing, implementing, and managing VMware virtualized environments and Windows-based server systems.
Ø Experience in Handling VMware vCenter (6.0,7.0,8.0), ESXi (6.0,7.0,8.0), VM Creation, Snapshots, Clone and Performance Monitoring include Synergy and Dell/HPE Hardware Administration.
Ø Experience in Handling VMware vCenter and cluster migration 7.0 to 8.0.
Ø Strong Experience on VM Advanced features like VMware HA, FT, DRS and VMotion.
Ø Hands on experience in VM Migration (Physical to Virtual & Virtual to Virtual).
Ø Vmware with Nsx-T and Distributed firewall knowledge
Ø Design, deploy and manage VMware vSphere environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter servers and related components.
Ø Experience in Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patch management and troubleshooting.
Ø Experience in EMC,3PAR, PURE Storage.
Ø Experience in Backup tool IBM Tivoli Manager.
Ø Knowledge in Cloud platform like GCP, Azure, AWS.
Ø Experience in Windows failover clustering.
Ø Monitor and optimize the performance of both VMware and Windows systems to ensure efficient operation and high availability.
Ø Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized and Windows server environments.
Ø Ensure systems are secure by applying patches, updates and following best security practices for VMware and Windows environments.
Ø Identify and resolve issues related to virtualization and Windows server performance, availability, and functionality.
Ø Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Ø Strong experience with Windows Server versions (e.g.2016, 2019, 2022).
Ø Deploy the cluster through Vrealize orchestrator.
Ø Good understanding in troubleshooting issues & preparing RCA.
