Job Description:
The DXC Organization is searching for a candidate who is proficient with Heterogeneous Storage Environment and Cutting-edge Technology. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience within EMC Storage, Cisco, Brocade, Pure Storage and 3PAR Storage administration, with knowledge of physical infrastructure and hardware such as HPE 3PAR 8500 serious, PowerMax 2500, Pure Storage Array X90. We are looking for a good communicator and a problem-solving individual.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with SAN Storage, Brocade and Cisco, EMC Storage, 3PAR, Pure Storage.
- 6+ years of Storage Administration: Code upgrades and configuration Management, performance management, troubleshooting and analysis.
- Experience of Storage Capacity Management and hardware Expansion.
Director class Fabric Switches, various Models on Brocade and Cisco, etc.
- Good skills in SAN Performance and Troubleshooting and fine tuning.
- Experience Storage Expansion on various model products in a timely fashion N-1, analyzing & troubleshooting complex systems and familiarity with writing test documentation/results.
- Good understanding of alert system monitoring, such as CPU, Memory, SAN workload on Disk IO.
- Good communication with internal and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Vendor Supported OS Code version: Ensuring that all Security vulnerability patch and compliance implemented and function properly.
- Maintaining SAN infrastructure: Fixing bugs and updating software to the N-1 level
- New SAN Array Build and testing, and configuring: Installing, testing, and configuring Multiple storage vendor products Like EMC. 3PAR and Pure storage array across multiple data centers.
- Storage Access management and managing: Securing and managing storage Array across multiple data centers
- Supervising storage arrays: Supervising storage arrays that handle VDI and VM work loads
- Communicating: Interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor and analyses system logs.
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures as on when the vendor releases
- Creating High end 8 node and 16 node clusters with storage array management
- Manage & Maintain core edge Storage technology infrastructure.
- Virtual Connect Networking Concepts for Enclosures
- Perform Storage Migration of one Data center to another Data enter.
- Troubleshooting and resolve Storage migration issue.
- Implementing the Storage expansion of VM/ LUN.
- Knowledge in SRDF Storage replication method Migration activity.
- Hands on experience on alert and Monitoring tool like Virtual Wisdom.
- Should be able to Create and present the Reporting on the multiple vendor Storage array.
- Setting up Storage management interface and managing the large number of storage system.
- Experience on ISL and trucking implementation and troubleshooting with DWDM connectivity.
