We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of six years of relevant work experience. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in middleware technologies such as MicroFocus, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and IIS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum six years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in middleware technologies including MicroFocus, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and IIS.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes will be preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learner mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of applications hosted on various middleware platforms such as MicroFocus, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and IIS.
- Ability to work with containerized applications, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Should be able to troubleshoot issues with applications hosted in these environments.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to middleware technologies.
- Monitoring application and infrastructure alerts and ServiceNow tickets on a 24x7 basis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Contributing to patching and updating the Middleware products as well as the physical servers to ensure they remain compliant with the latest security mandates.
- Contributing to documentation and SOPs related to the best practices we follow.
