Senior Engineer - Verification
Role:
In this role, you will have the complete ownership of the verification of an IP block. You
will work with verification architects and a team of verification engineers and be responsible for the
delivery of a bug free IP block.
What you will be doing:
• Own the delivery of a bug free IP block by working closely with verification architects
and a team of verification engineers
• Understand the system level use cases, architect the test bench, and identify the verification
components required for the IP
• Develop high-level verification plan for various use cases and detailed test plans
• Build reusable test components like VIPs, checkers, drivers, test coding, building assertions,
test execution, regression, and coverage closure.
• Categorize tests into tests for simulation, emulation and lab/PoC tests and responsible
towards the completion/execution of the tests
• Participate in higher level integration reviews, for their own blocks as well as neighbouring
blocks
• Opportunities to do lab validation of the ASICs using Python
Contributions at a group level:
• Contribute towards improving the verification methodologies
• Support collecting various reusable verification components
• Support streamlining verification flows and processes
• Explore and adopt new verification methodologies
Area of work:
UVM/System Verilog + Formal verification + Emulation + Lab validation
Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience using System Verilog and UVM
Experience developing a testbench from scratch
Experience of completing verfication cycle in more than one project
Ability to guide junior engineers
Good communication skills
