Responsibilities:
This role, GOSO (Global Operations and Strategy Organization) - Sales Force Optimization Sr. Associate Consultant/Associate Consultant, will report to the GOSO SFO Team Leader and work within a team set up to provide critical capabilities for Lilly IBU (International Business Unit). These capabilities may include , Customer Segmentation  & Targeting , Sales force Sizing, Structure, Territory Alignment Design and Maintenance, Field Call planning and Refinement

Key accountabilities:

  • Collate information regarding the field force size, structure, performance, etc. to support SFO recommendations for Customer Operations team
  • Use data and reports to develop, optimize, and implement strategies aimed at improving Sales teams’ performance 
  • Develop approaches to design and align territories, do resource sizing & structure, personnel placement etc.
  • Conduct analysis of the data and cascade the overall sales target to the sales associate level
  • Build recurring Tableau, Power BI reports to measure key KPIs related to performance of field force and other roles
  • Set up processes to ensure continuous high-quality delivery including but not limited to implementing best project management practices
  • Serve as trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the projects (including kick-off, methodology development, execution, insight generation and data visualizations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and any applicable state and federal marketing and promotion laws and regulations 

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • BTech/ MBA with 3-5 years of experience in sales planning and management
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (BI, Tableau), Javelin suite of products, CRM systems, Veeva, SQL, AWS, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Strong learning agility
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
  • Keen focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems, supported by strong analytical reasoning
  • Experience in business analysis
  • Experience working on SFE for multiple geographies would be a plus
