A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Sr. Electrical Engineer (Test Fixture Designer) at MKS Global Capability Center Bangalore, you will partner with R&D teams across MKS PSD Business Units to design and deliver functional PCBA fixtures.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Design and deliver functional PCBA fixtures that complement ICT (in-Circuit-Test) to assist in validation, troubleshooting, and repair of contract manufacturer PCBA's.
- Work closely with the board and system electrical designers to duplicate and document existing test fixtures and define test parameters and strategy to enable multi-sourcing opportunities.
- Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including design package sufficient to replicate the fixture (schematics, photographs, interconnection diagrams, sheet metal & machine parts drawings, theory of operation, and procedure in MS Word or MS PowerPoint).
Skills You Bring:
- Experience required: 5+ years post educational degree
- Extensive understanding of electrical circuits. Ability to read PCBA schematics.
- Experience with Altium schematic capture. Board layout experience preferred.
- Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint skills for documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to assemble harnesses, solder breadboards, design sheet metal panels.
- LabView / Python programming experience preferred.
