Our Mobile Engineers develop native apps like Cartwheel and Target’s flagship app, which are high-impact and high-visibility assets that are game-changers for literally millions of guests. Here, you’ll get to explore emerging retail and mobile technologies, playing a key role in revolutionary product launches with tech giants like Apple and Google. You’ll be a visionary for the future of Target’s app ecosystem. You’ll help Target evolve by using the latest open source tools and technologies and staying true to strong agile practices. About You:
- 5+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation
- Expertise in using React and Next.js to build high-quality, dynamic web applications.
- Proficiency with CSS3, HTML5, and responsive design techniques, ensuring designs are functional across all screen sizes.
- Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with back-end teams to implement data-driven UIs
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React.
- Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, or other testing frameworks for front-end applications.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc.) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work closely with design teams to implement pixel-perfect designs.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
