Qualification-
•BE/ BTech/ MTech (Mech), 3-8yrs work experience with below skills/
knowledge.
Must have skills-
–Have knowledge of mechanical design in Telecom domain
–Be able to do mechanical design of
»Line cards of modular systems
»Various types of heat sinks along with their mounting mechanisms
»Fixed systems chassis – 1 to 42RU
»Rack design – ETSI/ NEBS requirement
–Have sheet-metal and machining operations knowledge
–Be able to perform tolerance stack-up analysis and have GD&T knowledge
–Be able to work on sheet metal/ casting/ plastics/ fiber routing in CREO
–Have working knowledge of PLM SW like Windchill and Agile.
–Be able to transfer information to and from ECAD using DXF/ EMN/ EMP
format
–Be able to do hand calculations of forces during line card insertion/ extraction and heat sink mounting
–Be able to interact independently with Marketing, Design and Testing functions for review
–Be able to perform mechanical tests like form-fit-function for first-article-inspection
–Have an understanding of operational and non-operational environmental qualifications
–Have good communication skills and be a team player

–Mechanical design as per EMI requirements
–Materials knowledge for sheet metal/ casting/ plastics applications
–Structural analysis knowledge: Ansys, LS Dyna
