Some of What You'll Do
6-8 years’ experience working in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.
Experience in software testing/ quality assurance with web-based applications and client-server applications.
Must have experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
Solid experience in SQL using any DB (PLSQL developer, TOAD,MongoDB etc)
Experience in automation testing using Selenium/cucumber or similar frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD Platforms (e.g., GIT, Jenkins).
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced Agile environment with diverse/ multiple stakeholders.
Strong experience / demonstrated success in releasing high-quality products.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
Experience working using JIRA/QC/BUGZILLA or other industry standard test management tool.
Secondary Skills:
Experience or knowledge in Shell scripting /Python scripting
The Telecom domain with experience in OSS / BSS is an added advantage
Job requirement
Senior QA Engineer
- Candidate having 8-10 Years of experience and proficiency in below
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes for both new and existing products.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements, understand software functionalities, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, including but not limited to integration, system, usability, and regression testing.
- Document, track, and report defects and issues identified during testing, working closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.
- Exposure to agile methodology and working in SCRUM
- Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with a focus on continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.
- Experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a preference for experience in the telecom sector.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, cucumber, JMeter) and scripting languages (e.g. Shell ,Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
