About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with experience as DevOps to join our growing Surface Engineering Team. Our new colleague will be responsible for developing automation and building tools that accurately ensure the quality, reliability and accuracy of a globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystem using Golang & Python as well as AWS infrastructure building tools such as terraform. Prior experience with Golang or Python is not required, but will be helpful.
CrowdStrike is a computer security company, but we do not require candidates for this role to have prior security industry experience. We will mentor and train in security topics as needed. We do expect a strong interest in CrowdStrike's mission and a willingness to engage with the needs of our product teams and customers.
About the Team:
You will be joining the EASM Engineering team a.k.a. CrowdStrike Falcon Surface.
Falcon Surface pinpoints unknown, exposed internet-facing assets so security teams can best secure their digital perimeter. It enables security teams to detect, prioritize, and manage all of their exposed internet-facing assets that are centralized or remote across on-premise environments, subsidiary, cloud and third-party vendors with no agents or deployment required.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions.
• Plan, design, develop, verify, deploy and maintain automated test suites.
• Increase our automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity.
• Analyze product, system and feature designs for flaws and improvements.
• Improve, maintain and automate our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data and applications.
• Validate and verify customer-facing features, end-to-end, across the product platform.
• Leverage new open source solutions to build new tools that test things in new ways.
• Be part of engineering efforts turning rapid prototypes into large-scale core services.
• Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.

What You'll Need:

• Overall 10+ years in Quality Assurance out of which atleast 2-4+ years in test automation development experience / as an SDET.
• Good programming skills.
• Solid experience in OOP, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
• Experience working with Web Services - JSON or REST / gRPC / RPC / XML.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems like Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience in DevOps on AWS environment.
• Productivity - GIT, Stash, Bamboo, JIRA.
• Team player skills - collaboration is key to building the best solutions.
• The ability to thrive in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
• The skills to meet your commitments on time and produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
