Position Overview
We're searching for a SDET/Senior SDET to join our Epic Engineering team in Bengaluru location. To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You'll Do

• Design and implement server-side automated tests using RestSharp (C#).
• Perform API testing (REST services) for microservices.
• Validate: Request/response payloads, Authentication & authorization, Data integrity, Error handling & status codes
• Build reusable API test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform end-to-end manual testing for new features and enhancements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Design detailed test cases and test scenarios aligned with business workflows.
• Validate edge cases, negative scenarios, and real-world usage patterns.
• Actively participate in Sprint ceremonies (grooming, planning, daily standups, reviews, retros).
• Understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical design and convert them into effective test scenarios.
• Provide quality sign-off for sprint deliverables.
• Identify testing risks early and communicate clearly with product and engineering teams.
• Write component-level tests for React UI (using tools like Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter / k6 / LoadRunner.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
• Ensure proper test documentation (test plans, test cases, automation reports).
• Continuously improve test coverage and testing processes.

We're Excited to Learn More About You

• Education: BE, B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA, MSC
• 3-6 years of experience as SDET / QA Engineer / Test Engineer.
• Strong experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Excellent understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Solid hands-on experience in: Manual Testing, API Testing (REST), RestSharp with C# for automation
• Experience testing microservices-based systems.
• Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, authentication mechanisms (OAuth/JWT).
• Experience with React UI testing (component or E2E).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Strong defect analysis and debugging skills.

You may have other skills, including
Experience with the following products or technologies a plus

• Playwright / Cypress / Selenium
• Postman / Swagger
• k6 / JMeter for performance testing
• Knowledge of SQL / basic database validation.
• Experience testing cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker / containers.
