We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to join our backend Datapath team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore (onsite 3 days a week), reporting to the Manager, Engineering within the Engineering department. We are seeking a visionary to help enhance our services and global footprint, enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy.
- Designing, Reviewing and Execution of System, Integration and E2E tests for various backend datapath components
- Interactions across multiple stakeholders and product management to understand customer use-case and upcoming features
- Contributing for developing automated function test cases, building test infrastructure for the product needs and mentoring the juniors.
- Proactive monitoring of various cloud components and troubleshooting & debugging of cloud incidents
- Developing and maintaining the automation framework and Use in-house/modern tools to enable automation of network security products, scheduling of runs, etc

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 8+ years of relevant experience in test automation in a networking and/or security environment
- Extensive hands-on experience designing / developing automation frameworks using Python
- Experience of designing and executing comprehensive test plans for distributed systems and AWS, GCP, Active Directory, IDPs and VPNs clients
- Proficient in Network and Security protocols like TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS
- Troubleshooting and analysing the logs using Wireshark/TCP dump
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- System Load and Performance testing knowledge
- Experience setting testbeds in a Virtualization environment, Terraform and Ansible
- Certification in any of the cloud domain, networking domain and automation domain
