The RoleAs a Senior Technical Suite Specialist, you will develop training and enablement content for complex OT systems throughout the world to enable reliability, system performance, and world-class customer satisfaction and competency. This challenging and fast paced environment provides opportunity to expand your technical knowledge in all aspects of the energy utility industry by solving complex, real world issues for our customer base using the tools and processes AspenTech DGM provides.Your Impact- Become the technical product content owner for assigned software products responsible for content and enablement of Customer Training and Support.
- Maintain ownership of all training materials for assigned products for both customer training and internal enablement training.
- Create and maintain world-class customer training courses that drive user engagement and sustains product usage.
- Develop and/or maintain training materials for new releases and new applications in the industry.
- Partner with Product Management to understand new features and help design effective training materials around them.
- Partner with implementation Engineering to understand new implementation guidelines for software suites.
- Partner with targeted customers to build understanding of their business needs and challenges and create appropriate use cases to bolster the standard training content.
- Provide high-quality intermediate/advanced level training content, based on the relevant principles of engineering and industrial processes, to AspenTech customers and internal employees.
- Develop and perform Train the Trainer programs to promote trainer development and increase trainers’ product knowledge.
- Collaboration with other AspenTech functions to maintain and develop business opportunities.
- Other tasks may include: Deliver onsite support and consultancy; execute various departmental improvement projects as needed; author technical white papers for publication to AspenTech’s web knowledge base.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field. Master's degree preferred. Strong technical background in automation and computers
- 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred. University experience may count.
- Previous experience with AspenTech OSI software or public utilities.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and networking skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities with a strong customer first mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities
- Potential to travel. Travel is usually less than 10% and may occasionally be international.
