Our engineering team defines the technical architecture and drives itself to build systems that serve billions of requests per day, cosmic scales of video content streamed every day, with ultra-low latency design and high reliability. We make sure every byte of video content gets to millions of viewers, at the highest quality possible. We are growing fast and looking for talented Engineers who are up for one of the biggest yet outcomes in the video streaming business as we gun to be the primary destination for digital first entertainment in India and make JioCinema accessible to every Indian.
What will you do ?
- Setting up and automating processes for orchestration, deployments, and integrations.
- Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Incidence management and root cause analysis.
- Setting up immutable infrastructure using IaaC tools.
- Working with multiple third-party tool integration.
- Building practices and tools towards the goal of no downtime and better SLAs.
- Look at avenues for optimizing infrastructure from a cost standpoint.
- Assessing current systems and processes, and developing wats to improve them.
Who should apply for this role ?
- Experience 5-7 years as a DevOps Engineer in a large-scale industry. Must have hands-on programing experience on Python or Golang.
- Strong experience in GCP or AWS, preferred GCP
- Should have knowledge of CI/CD preferably azure devOps Ability to work with Terraform, ansible, Kubernetes
- Sound knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Victoria Metrics
- Experience in integration with third party tools.
- Should be proficient in Python OR GO scripting language.
- Experience in working with different open-source technologies. Contributions are preferable.
- Should be able to communicate and work with multiple teams as a DevOps Engineer.
- Should have experience in working with a high pace and large-scale teams. Good to have certification in GCP, Kubernetes, Gitops, monitoring
