Role Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer III to join our elite Ad Tech team. This role is designed for a technical lead who thrives on solving complex problems, designing scalable architectures, and leading the development of next-generation ad tech products.

As an SSDE III, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural direction of our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and future-proof. This position is ideal for someone on the architectural track, hands on, with a deep technical background and a passion for innovation in the ad tech space.

What you will do?

• Architectural Leadership: Define and drive the architectural vision for our ad tech products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability, performance, and reliability.
• System Design: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, distributed backend systems that handle massive volumes of data and transactions.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated ad solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Innovation: Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies and practices that push the boundaries of what's possible in digital advertising.
• Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve system performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.

What We’re Looking For?

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering high-performance systems in a complex, data-driven environment.
• Deep proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, GO, NodeJS, Python.
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including the design and optimization of large-scale data storage solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink, or similar.
• Architectural Mindset: A strong focus on system design and architecture, with the ability to foresee and mitigate potential challenges.
• Code Quality & Standards: Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable code. Drive code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Cloud Proficiency: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and their application in media delivery.
• Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git and experience managing large-scale projects with distributed teams.
• Performance Optimization: Strong background in optimizing backend systems for media delivery, including caching strategies and CDN integration.
• Security Practices: Thorough understanding of security best practices, with a focus on protecting media assets and user data.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving both individual and team performance.
• Passion for Ad Tech: A deep understanding of and enthusiasm for the latest trends and technologies in the ad tech industry.
• Holistic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring that architectural decisions align with business goals.
