Role Summary: We are seeking an exceptional Frontend Engineer to join our elite Ad Tech team. This role is for a SSDE III passionate about crafting seamless, performant, and scalable user interfaces that enhance our advanced ad tech products. This role is perfect for a passionate engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a knack for solving complex problems, and is eager to push the limits of what’s possible in technology. 

As an SSDE III on the frontend, you will be instrumental in driving the architectural direction of our user-facing systems, ensuring that our products not only meet the highest standards of usability and performance but also push the boundaries of what’s possible in the ad-tech for large digital streaming platforms. You will lead the development of user-facing features across Android, iOS, and web platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, visually stunning, and user-friendly applications that scale to millions of users. Your role will involve hands-on coding, technical leadership, and mentoring, ensuring that our digital products provide an exceptional user experience across all devices.

What you will do?

• Multi-Platform Development: Lead the design and implementation of responsive, high-performance user interfaces across Android, iOS, and web applications, ensuring a consistent user experience.
• UI/UX Integration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate complex designs into intuitive and engaging interfaces across mobile and web platforms.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices across Android, iOS, and web development teams. Lead code reviews to ensure high standards and consistent quality.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability, ensuring smooth interactions and fast load times on all devices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and content teams to align frontend development with business objectives and content delivery strategies.
• Innovation & Technology: Stay ahead of industry trends, leading the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that enhance mobile and web application development.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers across Android, iOS, and web teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Testing & Debugging: Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the stability and reliability of mobile and web applications.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, components, and development best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and alignment across teams.
• User-Centric Development: Advocate for a seamless, high-quality user experience across all platforms, ensuring that our applications meet the needs of a diverse and global audience.

Who should apply for this role?

• Experience: 7+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on building and scaling applications across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
• Android: Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK and design patterns for mobile development.
• iOS: Expertise in Swift or Objective-C, with extensive experience in iOS frameworks and building high-performance iOS applications.
• Web: Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Cross-Platform Development: Experience with cross-platform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a plus.
• Responsive Design: Expertise in creating responsive designs that provide a consistent experience across mobile and web platforms.
• State Management: Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and patterns for handling complex application states across platforms.
• Tooling & Workflow: Proficiency in modern development tools and workflows, including Android Studio, Xcode, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and Git.
• Performance Optimization: Strong background in optimizing applications for performance, including techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient asset management.
• Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Compatibility: Expertise in ensuring compatibility and optimizing performance across different browsers and mobile devices.
• Design Systems: Experience in developing and maintaining component libraries or design systems that ensure consistency across mobile and web applications.
• Testing: Strong experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, XCTest, Jest, Cypress) and a commitment to maintaining a robust testing culture.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical projects, making architectural decisions, and mentoring junior team members across mobile and web development teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js or Nuxt.js for web applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices to ensure inclusive design for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with GraphQL for frontend data management, especially in content-heavy applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies for mobile and web applications.
