As an Alphawave Semi Signal and Power integrity engineer, you are responsible for providing technical SI/PI support to customers using our IPs . In this role, you will provide responses in supporting the customer's integration in pre silicon stage. In addition, you will regularly engage with internal R&D team to satisfy the customer's application and constantly improve the customer's experience.
What You'll Do
- You will provide post-sales Signal and Power integrity support to customers worldwide for Ethernet ,PCIe, UCIe and other SerDes Ips
- Assisting to resolve complex Signal and Power integrity issues as part of SerDes IP integration
- Conducting and/or reviewing SI/PI simulations
- Reviewing customer PCB/PKG designs and provide improvement guidance
- Sign off SI and PI collateral (CPMs ,IBIS-AMI, Etc..)
- Work closely with R&D and provide updates to PM/AEs
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's in computer science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Science
- 7+ years of SI/ PI experience
- PCB and PKG design, advanced technologies, materials and manufacturing techniques.
- System simulations with IBIS-AMI /Hspice
- PDN planning/design/simulation
- Knowledge of EDA tools and a strong understanding of simulators and 2.5D/3D solvers (HFSS, Keysight ADS, MATLAB, SiWave, etc.)
- Familiarity with SerDes architectures and process technology
It'd Be Amazing If You Had
- Experience working with lab equipment such as high speed oscilloscopes, TDR/VNA
- Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Science
