Job Description SummaryAs a Senior network engineer, you will lead the technical design team, work collaboratively across functions to identify new networking technologies & solutions, define product requirements, design, and execute network programs with predictability. You will be Responsible for operating with product management to create a clear strategic direction for the product.
You will be responsible for leading a small/medium cross-functional product and program Core Team. Project lead through program planning and execution of network sustenance programs. You will work with the Program managers to ensure that the necessary skills and resources are effectively applied and delivering to plan.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the system.
  • Manage product, and systems requirements / specifications.
  • Support, coordinate, and lead technical reviews with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to Monitoring Solutions strategy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that product programs achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including feature and functionality, quality, reliability, scalability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory, compliance and cost.
  • Define system test strategy. Drive verification and validation activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
  • Responsible for driving critical to quality (CTQ) / Risk tradeoffs
  • Design & develop network infrastructure using Cisco and Aruba switches and routers.
  • Create a Cross-Premises Virtual Network for Site-to-Site Connectivity
  • Design network topology, routing plans to ensure N/W packets flowed through the pipes with low delay and no packet loss between the end points
  • Uses advanced troubleshooting techniques to analyze and resolve critical N/W issues in the field
  • Creating configuration and installing guidelines for N/W infrastructure.
  • Perform technology/tools evaluation and technical proof of concepts.

Preferred Skills:

  • CCNA certified.
  • In-depth experience with multi-disciplined technology stack across systems and network LAN
  • Experience in Network Services viz. Network Diagnostics & Configuration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, RDP, SSH, HSRP, NAT, QoS, STP, Telnet, VLAN, TCP/IP, Firewall configuration
  • Experience with wireless 802.11 roaming, authentication and security (WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3, EAP, etc.).
  • Experience with the Linux wired and wireless stack (drivers, mac80211, cfg80211, wpa_supplicant, hostapd, iwconfig/iw, etc.).
  • Experience in healthcare related standards, data exchange protocols, Clinical workflows.
  • Effective communication skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. Works to build consensus across the team.
  • Hands on experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated technical depth with problem-solving techniques
  • Working knowledge of remote asset management technologies and solutions.
  • Experience in design verification
  • Experience in medical device standards and regulations
  • Experience in creating and managing product roadmap and features

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BE/ B. Tech in Computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in Network design.
  • Experienced in designing and developing design solutions in network technology
  • Experience in working with global teams using agile practices
  • Experience in software defined networking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, Self-starter, Passionate, committed team player.
  • Exposure to global quality & regulatory standards.
  • Problem solving skills to assess design alternatives and perform tradeoffs to determine designs or functionality that best meet needs.
  • Experience in Virtualization using VMWare – ESXi, Hyper-V
