The Staff Network Engineer will design and implement a highly available Datacenter network while leading initiatives in building and integrating the infrastructure. Responsibilities also include ensuring network security, automating operations, mentoring team members, and resolving network issues.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Design, plan, implement highly available Datacenter Network for Coupang.
- Deploy Centralized management, Monitoring and auto detection systems.
- Act as a lead in building Datacenter network for Active-Active Datacenter Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Architects to build a scalable and lasting solution.
- Work closely with Enterprise and Logistics Network team in integrating Datacenter network with rest of the Business
- Ensure adequate Network security and closely work with Infosec team to build Highly Secure Datacenter
- Work closely with Datacenter Compute Team and ensure tight integration.
- Work with potential vendors for solutioning and support.
- Automate and Centrally operate Datacenter Networks
- Ensure Healthy Network configuration and compliance
- Explore continuous improvement in Datacenter Network.
- Collaborate with Datacenter Facilities team and other Infrastructure teams.
- Deploy Secure access mechanism.
- Network issues resolution and unambiguous Root cause Analysis.
- Mentor Junior Team members
- Effectively Communicate with users and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- 15+ years of Network administration Experience
- Hands-on Experience in Large Datacenter administration.
- Proficient in routing protocols-BGP, OSPF etc.
- Excellent Hands-on Experience in Cisco Nexus Switches, ACI and NDI
- Arista/Juniper Knowledge will be an advantage
- Experience in WAN Integrations-MPLS, SDWAN etc.
- Good knowledge of Network switching technologies.
- Should have good experience in Datacenter Load balancers.
- Good Knowledge of Traffic Engineering and QOS.
- Design and architecture of Datacenter, Enterprise networks.
- Knowledge on ML Network Infrastructure will be an advantage.
- Knowledge on Zero-Trust Datacenter Networks.
- Firewall Administration
- Solid background in Network Fundamentals and IT Security
- Excellent Communication, documentation skills.
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems
- PG/Graduation/Diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Update on the emerging Datacenter network technologies.
- Professional certification (e.g. CCIE, CCNP, JNCIP, ACE etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
