We are looking for a Staff Product manager to join our team in a Hybrid capacity, reporting to Dir, Product Management within the Product Management department. You drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Zscaler’s Data Security capabilities, helping expand a cloud security platform built for innovation, scale, and business enablement. This role reports to the Principal Product Manager.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Data Security products, including Web DLP and Email DLP.
- Define, document, and prioritize product requirements using market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, Support, Operations, Sales, Marketing) to take ideas from concept to successful delivery.
- Support product deployment and sales enablement across beta and production environments in collaboration with Support, Operations, and Sales teams.
- Drive and execute go-to-market plans with Marketing and Sales to ensure adoption and measurable product success.
- A results-driven product manager who can balance strategy and execution across multiple stakeholders.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to convert real-world pain points into clear product requirements and roadmap priorities.
- Technically credible in networking and security concepts, able to influence decisions and trade-offs with engineering teams.
- A structured problem-solver with strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with both business and technical audiences.
- 3–7 years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation in Data and security technologies.
- Experience delivering products as cloud-based Saas services
- Experience with AI and Data Classification is a must
- Extensive experience working on Data Loss Prevention DLP/CASB or DSPM
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to operate across technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in escalation engineering or deployment advisory roles.
- Basic scripting and regex skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
