What will you do?
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for large-scale distributed systems.
- Perform scale, performance and security tests for large scale data systems.
- Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and functionalities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Implement automation testing frameworks and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Conduct thorough testing for databases, Kubernetes (k8s) environments, orchestrators, schedulers, networking, and other backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects.
- Stay on top of the latest industry trends in software testing and introduce innovative testing techniques to improve product quality.
- Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation systems for large-scale backend platforms.
- Fundamental knowledge of backend systems, including databases, Kubernetes (k8s), orchestrators, schedulers, and networking.
- Proven track record of working in large-scale product companies, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Javaor Python.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic team environment.
