We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Protection team to contribute as development engineer. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering. You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and owning components of a large-scale distributed system with a keen sense for and scalability
- Troubleshooting issues with a hawkish skills
- Working with Operations and Support (when needed) to help keep a healthy cloud and happy customer and at the end of the day
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java expertise, developing middle-tier/backend web applications, and possessing a Bachelor's degree. Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Extensive experience with traditional databases, APIs, Web Services (REST), and a preference for microservices. Proficient in message queuing and caching using Kafka and Redis.
- Experience with Hibernate or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks and bash/python script programming.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML and experience using browser debugging and profiling tools.
- Working knowledge of containerization (specifically Docker) and hands-on experience with Gemini code assist or other generative AI tools for development.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Expertise in Cloud, TCP/IP, and Networking coupled with experience in the security industry.
- Proficient in endpoint development and skilled in Node/React development.
- Experience with SAML/OAuth SSO authentication.
