Position Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer, your primary task involves developing resilient, scalable, and well-protected microservices that drive our SaaS platform, simplifying governance for our clients. You'll harness the complete capabilities of AWS and concentrate on constructing Serverless solutions, which may involve creating entirely new services or aiding in the migration of existing ones to a Serverless framework, predominantly using .NET , Node.js and TypeScript. As an integral member of our central governance units, your team assumes complete ownership of their services, spanning the entire lifecycle from coding to deployment and ongoing monitoring. Additionally, you'll consistently showcase your progress to the entire department through regular demonstrations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee application architecture using .NET technologies to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Address technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Offer expertise in .NET, NodeJs technologies and best practices to the development team.
  •  Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization and resource allocation.
  • Diagnose and resolve database issues to minimize downtime.
  • Advocate for and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance, including automated testing.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Serve as the technical owner for epics across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead architecture and implementation of platform-level initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize key performance metrics during task execution.
  • Suggest process improvements during team retrospectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture and processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest .NET technologies and industry trends.
  • Monitor application performance and respond to incidents.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of professional experience delivering secure applications in an agile environment. 
  • Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and other .NET technologies.
  • Proficient in developing RESTful APIs using NodeJS and/or TypeScript with Open API specifications.
  • Strong experience in database design for SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MS-SQL, DynamoDB), including data modeling and efficient queries.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL Queries , SQL Stored procedure ,SQL performance tuning is highly expected.
  • Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript to build interactive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Proficient in AWS services and skilled in using CDK/Terraform.
  • Experienced in CI/CD practices and development with Docker.
  • Understanding of event-driven microservices architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile and Kanban/Scrum processes.
