Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play the below responsibilities:
- You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also lead design discussion.
- Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates and justify the estimate with facts.
- Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation.
- Seek and provide feedback on design and development.
- Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module.
- Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules.
- Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
- Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices.
- Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
- Be fluent in core data structures, Design patterns as well as algorithms.
- Work with Product Manager (PM/TPMs) and architects to understand product requirements & vision.
- Lead technical designs and present technical ideas through whiteboarding; drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs.
- Seek and provide feedback on design and development.
- Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 11+ years' experience out of which minimum 8+ years should be hands-on software development.
Technical Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience on core Java (1.8 or higher), conversant in doing code reviews.
- Hands-on experience on Angular, Shell Scripting.
- Experience of developing multithreaded applications.
- Exposure in designing scalable enterprise solutions on microservices paradigm and REST APIs
- Good understanding and experience with DevOps practices and Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery tool chains (Github, Jenkins, Sonar, Coverity, Code review tools).
- Prior experience in Healthcare & Serviceability will be an added advantage.
