Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with over 3-9 years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and BigQuery, with a bonus for experience in Azure Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using GCP tools (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, etc.).
Write efficient SQL and Python code for data transformation and integration.
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
(Preferred) Support hybrid cloud data architectures involving both GCP and Azure.
Required Skills:
3-9 years of experience in data engineering roles.
Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.).
Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other Azure data tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
